Doctor B’s Beef Recipe BARF, is a ‘Red Meat’ product, suitable for all life stages. It contains high levels of arachidonic acid, an Essential Fatty Acid, essential for healthy body function, but potentially pro-inflammatory, so it is not ideal for animals with inflammatory or degenerative conditions.
As a beef product, it has a high iron content, so is excellent for promoting new red blood cell formation, bolstering energy levels and endurance. It is ideal for very active dogs such as working and agility dogs.

    Great recipe for very active dogs. For all canine life stages; especially active dogs, growing small breed pups and lactating females. Essential for dogs with anaemic conditions

     

    Not so good for : 

    Since its pro-inflammatory, it's not suitable for dogs with any sort of inflammatory or degenerative condition. 

    Also, dogs requiring a low fat diet e.g. chronic pancreatitis or restricted calorie diet e.g. for weight loss

    2-3% of body weight (adults)

    3-6% of body weight (puppies)

    2-4% of body weight (large to giant breed puppies)
